Meetings
Wellington Camera Club switched to meeting via Zoom in March 2020 and continued like this in 2021-22 with a very successful programme of online speakers, presentations from club members and competitions. Since September 2022 we have gone back to face-to-face meetings for some meetings (competitions, photo challenges and club nights), but also continue with Zoom meetings at home for guest speakers from far and wide.
Details of the 2023-24 programme from September until April are now online here. If you’re interested in any of our events, please contact us via the Contact Us page and full details of how to join a Zoom meeting or attend in person at Wellington Rugby Club can be supplied.
As always, our meetings are free to attend for the first 3-4 times as you get to know us. There is a £2 per person per evening door fee for all attendees to help to pay for the hire of the room but this includes tea/coffee and biscuits at the break [please bring your own cup]). We hope that if you enjoy them, then you will join the club. Membership for the next season remains the same at £50 per person, which can be paid as two fees of £25 in September and January (with no obligation to continue membership for the full season, although we hope that if you enjoy our meetings, then we'll see you for the full year!). Although the incidence of Covid is now low, as we meet indoors, we would urge all members and guests NOT to come to any meetings if you or anyone who you have close contact with show any signs of an infection, be it Covid or influenza.
